Christ the Rock Youth (CTR Youth) is a vibrant community of young people aged 11–18 who are passionate about fun, friendship, and following Jesus.

Whether you’ve grown up in church or are just starting to explore faith, there’s space here for you — to belong, to ask big questions, and to be yourself.

📅 What’s On

✨ Sunday Mornings

During the 10:30am service | Abbotswood School, Yate
Every Sunday morning, our secondary-school-aged youth head out after worship for inspiring and thoughtful sessions led by a dedicated youth team. These times are all about growing in faith, building connection, and learning what it means to follow Jesus in real life.

🌙 Sunday Evenings

6:00–8:00pm | Chipping Sodbury Baptist Church

Our Sunday evening youth sessions are a highlight of the week — a place to relax, connect, and have fun.

Expect:

  • 🎉 Games, crafts, and chilled hang-out time

  • 🍽 A shared meal together

  • 🗣 A chance to talk openly about life and faith

  • 🙏 A safe space to wrestle with doubts, ask questions, and grow closer to Jesus

We regularly run things like Youth Alpha, and it’s a brilliant space to bring your friends — no pressure, no judgment, just real community.

 As a community of young people we also participate in other activities together such as occasional social events, Christian festivals and activities with the wider church.
